Financial Aid and Scholarships All applicants for need-based financial aid must complete and submit both the 2004-05 CSS Profile and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). For further details, please visit www.collegeboard.com and click on CSS Profile. Further information on the FAFSA can be found by visiting www.fafsa.ed.gov. Financial Aid for Early Decision Candidates: Early Decision candidates who wish to be considered for financial aid must submit the 2004-05 CSS Profile (using estimated 2003 tax figures) by the priority filing date of Dec. 15, 2003. Students meeting this deadline are assured of a timely financial aid response. The financial aid office will prepare a tentative financial aid award based on these estimates. Merit scholarships awarded to students will be incorporated into financial aid packages at a later date and may reduce estimated St. Olaf gift aid. Because these figures are estimates, Early Decision students must also file a FAFSA, using actual tax information, after Jan. 1, 2004 (but no later than Feb. 15, 2004), to finalize their award. For St. Olaf to receive your FAFSA and Profile results, you must include the following school codes on the applications: FAFSA: 002382, Profile: 6638. Financial Aid for Early Action and Regular Admission Candidates Early Action and Regular admission candidates who wish to be considered for financial aid should complete the 2004-05 CSS Profile by the priority filing date of Feb. 15, 2004. Students meeting this deadline are assured of a timely financial aid response. The financial aid office will prepare a tentative financial aid award based on these estimates. Because these figures are estimates, Early Action and Regular admission students must also file a FAFSA, using actual tax information, after Jan. 1, 2004 (but no later than Feb. 15, 2004), to finalize their award. For St. Olaf to receive your FAFSA and Profile results, you must include the following school codes on the applications: FAFSA: 002382, Profile: 6638. Scholarships: If you are interested in competing for merit scholarships at St. Olaf, you must have a completed St. Olaf application on file, and file the appropriate scholarship application form(s) and/or audition tape no later than: Dec. 15 for the Regents' Scholarship.
