You must indicate your decision plan by checking the appropriate box on the application and all other forms where requested.
Decision Plans
Early Decision (ED)
Application deadline: November 1. Supporting materials must be received by November 1.
Please download and fill out the Early Decision Agreement Form. A binding decision plan for strong students who decide that Wellesley is their first choice. Early Decision students must apply by November 1 of their senior year. By mid-December, Wellesley informs the ED applicant of the admission and financial aid decisions.
Early Decision Dates to Remember
Early Evaluation (EE)
Application deadline: January 1. Supporting materials must be received by January 1.
A nonbinding decision plan under which students get an early indication of their chances for admission. At the end of February, students who apply under the EE decision plan receive a letter which lists their chances for admission as "likely," "possible," or "unlikely." All supporting materials must be received by January 1. The EE notifications are sent to these applicants by the end of February, and applicants receive their final decision and financial aid notification from the Board of Admission in April.
Early Evaluation Dates to Remember
Regular Decision
Application deadline: January 15. Supporting materials must be received by January 15.
Candidates under this plan will receive their admission and financial aid decisions in the same mailing in April.
