Instructions for Application for Second Bachelor's Degree Program
Application Instructions:
1. Complete the application online and pay the $35 fee online with a credit card or electronic check through the use of our secure server.
2. Arrange to have official (sealed envelope) transcript(s) of all undergraduate and graduate level course work forwarded by each college to:

3. Since the application is not reviewed until ALL items have been received, it is the responsibility of the applicant to make certain that all information reaches the Second Bachelor's Office by the following dates:
For Spring Admission: November 15
For Fall Admission: June 15
4. Second Bachelor's Students are required to select a major at the time of admission. Please note that some majors are screened/competitive and may have earlier deadlines and separate applications. The NURSING major deadlines are
January 15 for Fall and August 15 for Spring. For more information please see Towson's

After receipt of all materials, you will be notified by mail with your admission acceptance and registration information.
5. The following majors are normally done through master's or undergraduate certificate programs, NOT as Second Bachelor's:
- Computer Science
- Occupational Therapy
- Elementary Education
- Other Education majors
Contact the Academic Department or TU's Graduate School before submitting an application for the above programs. Application fees are NOT refundable.
International Students, Please Note:
The Second Bachelor's Program does not admit students on international Visas.* Naturalized U.S. citizens or Permanent Residents whose first bachelor's degree was not completed in the United States must submit the following items:
- Transcripts from all foreign institutions attended.
- An evaluation and translation of all foreign transcripts by an authorized agency to determine equivalency to a four-year U.S. bachelor's degree.
- Official results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL); a minimum score of 550 (written test) or 213 (computer test) is required.
* Visa students who have completed the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree may apply to Towson's Graduate School or to Undergraduate International Admissions Office.

Supplementary Services
1. If your plans include living in CAMPUS RESIDENCE FACILITIES, please call the Residence Life & Housing Department, 410-704-2516. Applications for campus housing are issued only to admitted full-time students.
2. If you are applying for FINANCIAL AID, please contact the Financial Aid Office, 410-704-4239. Separate application forms are required for federal, state and campus-based aid.
3. If you have a disability and need special assistance, please call DISABILITY SUPPORT SERVICES, 410-704-2638.
4. If you are a veteran and are eligible for VA benefits, please call the Veteran's Affairs Office at 410-704-3094.
