Credential Evaluation

Seton Hall requires international applicants to have all of their transcripts evaluated by World Education Services (WES). This will expedite the application process and ensure accurate evaluation of your school history and transfer credits (if applicable). Please note that Seton Hall University will not be able to determine advanced standing for transfer students without a credential evaluation from WES. For more information, visit their Web site at www.wes.org ; e-mail them at info@wes.org, or write them at P.O. Box 745, Old Chelsea Station, New York, NY 10113-0745.

Provisional Acceptance

To be accepted to Seton Hall University, students must have a 550 (paper-based) or a 213 (computer-based) TOEFL score. If an applicant does not meet this requirement, he or she may gain provisional acceptance with placement into Seton Hall's English as a Second Language (ESL) program. Students who successfully complete our ESL program can begin to study regular University course work and fully matriculate into a degree-seeking program.

Financial Aid

International students are not eligible for financial aid. Seton Hall does not have any scholarships available for international students. However, international applicants who submit their applications with SAT or ACT scores may qualify for a University scholarship, which will be awarded automatically if the student meets eligibility requirements. There is no special application required.
