Admission Application Instructions

A non-refundable $25 application fee is paid on-line via cybercash wallet or credit card (Visa, Mastercard) via a secure server.

1. Carefully fill out the on-line application. You can do this over multiple sessions by saving your work. When you are ready to transmit the application, choose "Save and Send" on the last page, fill in the payment screen and send it.
   
   
2. Print out the High School Recommendation Form and have your guidance counselor fill it out and send it to the Mansfield University Admissions Office, along with an official high school transcript.
   
   
3. Have the official results of the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) of the College Entrance Examination Board, or the American College Testing Program (ACT) forwarded to the University Admissions Office.
   
   
4. High school seniors should submit application materials as early as possible. Selected programs reach capacity by January each year.

Transfer Applicants
If you have registered at, or attended another college, fill out and submit the on-line application and payment. Official, final transcripts from all colleges previously attended should be provided to our Admissions Office.

Transfer with fewer than 32 credit hours must submit their official high school transcripts, and SAT test results including verbal, math.

Deadline for application material is March 1 for the fall semester and November 1 for the spring semester. Thereafter, applications will be reviewed based on academic credentials and space availability.

Readmission Applicants
If you have attended MU before you should complete the Readmission Supplemental Questionnaire and provide a statement of your activities since last attending. If you have attended other institutions since MU, request the official transcripts be forwarded to the MU Admissions Office.

Everyone
Many programs fill early, so please apply as early as possible. Mansfield University is on a "rolling admissions' basis. We review your application and notify you of our decision when your completed application, fee and transcripts are received.
