Admission

The university welcomes applications from all qualified persons regardless of race, religion, or national origin. Admission standards have been established to ascertain which prospective students will be most likely to succeed at the university. An applicant for admission should have graduated from an accredited four-year high school or should possess an equivalency diploma issued by a state department of education. All applicants should submit evidence of their ability to do college-level work, as indicated by such tests as the College Board's SAT. All applicants are required to have a social security number.

Prospective students should complete the Application for Admission on this site. The $25 application fee is paid on-line via credit card on a secure server, and must be submitted with the application.

Transfer Students

A student who seeks to transfer should also complete the on-line application on this site. The $25 application fee is paid on-line via credit card on a secure server, and must be submitted with the application. Transfer students should also arrange to have all colleges attended send official transcripts and/or statements of honorable dismissal, which indicate that the applicant has been cleared academically, socially, and financially, to the California University of Pennsylvania Office of Admissions, 250 University Avenue, California, PA 15419.
