Application Instructions
Application types
Transfer applicant: A student who, after high school graduation, has enrolled/registered in one or more classes at another university (regardless of whether credit has been granted) should apply as a transfer student. Failure to report previous college attendance is considered a falsification of the application and the student will be subject to suspension from the university by administrative action.
Current high school students participating in postsecondary or dual enrollment programs should submit the first-year application rather than the transfer application.
Application deadlines
The following postmark deadlines should be used in applying for admission to Miami University as a transfer student. A Monday postmark is acceptable for any deadline which may fall on a Sunday. Applications for transfer admission may be accepted after the stated deadline on a space-available basis. When only a limited number of transfer students can be accepted for any semester or for any specific major, it may be necessary to close admission earlier than the stated dates.
