Instructions for Master of Science in Pastoral Counseling, Master of Arts in Spiritual and Pastoral Care, Certificate of Advanced Study or Non-degree Programs:
Completing Your Application
A complete application is one that includes the following documents:
- Completed Application Form, completed online and submitted with online payment of non-refundable fee of $50
- Official transcripts from each college or university attended
- Transcripts from studies not conducted in English must be submitted with a certified English translation.
- Resumé or vitae
- Three recommendations (professional references only)
- TOEFL Score Report (required only if English is not your native language)
- International student supplemental documents (required only if you need a student visa)
Note: An interview is required of all applicants for admission.
Priority Application Deadlines
- Fall Semester and Summer Terms: April 1
- Spring Semester: November 15
Applications received after the priority deadline are reviewed on a space-available basis. Applicants who are offered admission are required to submit a $100 non-refundable enrollment deposit to be applied to first semester's tuition.

- Resumé or vitae
- Recommendations in sealed envelopes
- TOEFL Score Report -- required only if English is not your native language (send unofficial scores with application and official scores must be sent directly from testing agency. Loyola's institution code is 5370.)
- International Student Supplemental Form -- required only if you need a student visa
