Applicants must submit:

• Complete the Online Application. A $20 application fee will be paid on-line upon submission of the on-line application via Mastercard, Visa, or electronic check on a secure server.
• Official high school transcript with the completed guidance counselor form
• ACT or SAT I scores OR a portfolio OR an interview with an admissions counselor

"Friendly Boarders Program" for students from Canada

Lake Erie College offers students, who are both citizens and full-time residents of Canada, the opportunity to attend Lake Erie College under a special financial program called "Friendly Borders."

Since you are not eligible to receive financial aid dollars in any form, the "Friendly Borders" program allows you to pay tuition costs and residence hall charges at your Canadian dollar value without experiencing the exchange rate to convert to the U.S. dollar amount. In effect, we are offering you a discount on your tuition and room charges. Our dining services are run by an outside company, therefore, we cannot offer you a discount on the amount they charge.

It is our hope that the "Friendly Borders" offer will make Lake Erie College an affordable choice for the many academically qualified students from Canada who are interested in any of our undergraduate majors. If you have dual citizenship and qualify for U.S. and/or institutional financial assistance and decide to take advantage of that assistance, you will not qualify for the "Friendly Borders" option.
