This application is to be used by all graduate applicants who are U.S. citizens by birth or through naturalization, and by those who have been granted resident alien status. All other applicants should contact the International Services and Programs Office at (912) 445-4789 (or write to: Georgia College & State University, Campus Box 49, Milledgeville, GA 31061 USA) for an International Admission Application Packet, or use the On-line International Application.
Former GC&SU applicants/students do not have to pay the $25.00 non-refundable application fee. These students should contact the admissions office directly for an application for admission. The Admissions Office phone number is 912-445-2771 or toll-free from within Georgia 1-800-342-0471. The e-mail address is gcsu@mail.gcsu.edu. The postal address is Georgia College & State University, Office of Admissions, CBX 023, Milledgeville, GA 31061. The admissions office will fax (within the US) or mail an application form for use by former applicants/students. The on-line application will not be transmitted without the payment of the $25.00 non-refundable application fee. Students may re-apply by telephone if their application for admission is no more than one year old.
The information on your graduate application will be used in creating your Permanent Record. Please answer all questions. Please complete and submit no later than the priority date listed below.
Test Scores: Each applicant seeking admission to a graduate degree program must submit acceptable scores on the GRE, GMAT or Miller Analogies Test. For information and test application forms, write the Educational Testing Service at 20 Nassau Street, Princeton, New Jersey, 08541, or the Georgia College & State University Testing Center, Campus Box 74, Milledgeville, GA 31061, (912) 445-5016. All test scores must be requested by you and mailed by the testing agency directly to: Office of Enrollment Services, Georgia College & State University, Campus Box 23, Milledgeville, GA 31061. (Copies and/or hand carried documents are not accepted.)
Transcripts: All applicants are responsible for having the Records Office of their college or university forward an official copy of their academic record to the Office of Enrollment Services at Georgia College & State University. This applies to all students submitting graduate applications. Copies and/or hand carried documents are not accepted.
Note that different graduate programs have different entrance requirements. See the Graduate Catalog description of the program for which you are applying. Your application is considered incomplete until all required materials are received by the Office of Enrollment Services. Do not send application materials to the academic department of your intended degree program, as this will delay the processing of your application.
