![]() Application Procedure
Applications from students who do not enroll are kept on file for five years. However, if a student waits one year or longer to enroll, the student is asked to submit an updated application and student health report. Upon acceptance, each student must submit a $50.00 advance tuition deposit which is applied to his/her account upon enrollment. Resident students must submit a $150.00 room reservation deposit that is also applied to one's account upon enrollment. These deposits are refundable prior to May 1 for fall enrollees and prior to December 1 for spring enrollees.
Admission of Transfer StudentsA student in good standing at another regionally accredited institution of higher education will be admitted without condition. Credit will be granted for courses which are comparable to courses offered by Emmanuel College. A minimum of 34 semester hours must be completed at Emmanuel College in order for a transfer student to earn an associate or a baccalaureate degree from Emmanuel College. Course work from an institution that is not accredited by a regional accrediting agency will be considered on a case by case basis.Students who present college credit and no SAT/ACT scores will have their acceptance based on their college credit if they have 12 or more semester hours. Standing at the last college attended will also be used to determine the level of acceptance. For fewer than 12 hours, acceptance will be determined by the Admissions Committee based on college and high school transcripts. |
