CONCURRENT GTU COMMON M.A. AND DSPT M.A. IN PHILOSOPHY DEGREESStudents who wish to pursue an integrated program in both philosophy and philosophical or systematic theology may do so by enrolling in the DSPT Master of Arts degree in Philosophy concurrently with the Common GTU/DSPT Master of Arts degree in Theology. Both degrees are conferred in their integrity after a three year course of studies comprising a total of 54 units of course work, and nine units of "in thesis" (30 total units required for the M.A. in Philosophy, and an additional 33 units for the M.A. in Theology).For detailed description of each degree the applicant should refer to the individual program descriptions. To apply to this program, the applicant should complete the GTU Common Application in full, complete only the application form for the DSPT MA in Philosophy degree and submit an academic paper (20 pages maximum). The GTU Common MA in Theology application essay and the academic recommendations should address the applicant's goals, interests and academic ability in the disciplines of both theology and philosophy.
