CERTIFICATE OF THEOLOGICAL STUDIES

Admission Requirements

Before we can act on your Certificate of Theological Studies application, the following items must be submitted to the Admissions Office:

APPLICATION FORM - Complete and submit the online application form with the paid application fee.
COLLEGE TRANSCRIPTS - Request official transcripts of all previous college work showing a Bachelor of Arts or its equivalent from an accredited institution to be sent directly to the DSPT Admissions Office.
ACADEMIC RECOMMENDATIONS - Download two letters of recommendation forms and send them to your recommenders. Note that you may sign the waiver statement on each form allowing you to waive your right to access under provisions of the Family Rights and Privacy Act of 1974
ESSAY - Compose a brief statement of purpose regarding your interests and goals in the Certificate of Theological Studies (see page 3 of Application Form). You may write your essay on a word processing document, then cut and paste the document into the application form.

International students must have a satisfactory score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), or its equivalent. For test information contact: www.toefl.org.
