How to Apply for Need-Based Financial Aid (Grants and Loan Eligibility)

  1. Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). FAFSAs are available from High School Guidance or Counseling Offices, from any College Financial Aid Office or from Concordia University.
  2. Be accepted for admission to Concordia University.
  3. Request a Financial Aid Transcript from the college or university you are attending this academic year. Please have it sent to CU's Financial Aid Office.
  4. Submit other documents as requested.
How to Apply for a Leadership Scholarship
To be considered for a leadership scholarship, submit a resume of significant school, church, and community activities and/or awards. You should also submit a response to the mission statement by identifying and explaining three aspirations you have which could be achieved by enrollment at Concordia University. This should be a typed response of one or two pages, and sent with name and social security number to the Office of Admission prior to April 1. Please refer to the Mission Statement on application instructions.

RESIDENT LIVING

All freshman and sophomores live on campus for their first two years and transfer students under the age of 21 spend one year in campus housing. Housing assignments are given priority based upon receipt date of completed housing application with $50 housing deposit. For questions regarding housing information and policies, please contact the Office of Student Services at 503/280-8512.
