Residence
On-campus accommodation is available for 144 full-time students. The residence is coeducational and is located on the Loyola Campus.
While efforts are made to meet specific requirements for particular rooms, assignments depend upon availability of places.
Ideally, residence applications should be completed at the same time as applying to the University. Due to our limited space, requests that cannot be met immediately will be wait-listed until space becomes available. Acceptance to the University does not guarantee admission to residence. An application to residence may be obtained by writing to:

Director of Residence
Concordia University, Loyola Campus
Hingston Hall, Room 157
7141 Sherbrooke St. West
Montréal, Québec H4B 1R6
Tel.: (514) 848-4755
Fax: (514) 848-4780.

CSU Off-Campus Housing Service
The Concordia Student Union offers a housing service. The service is an extensive data bank listing:

  1. vacant apartments and rooms (year-long and sublets)
  2. people who have apartments and are looking for roommates.

This information is posted on bulletin boards on the Sir George Williams Campus, Hall Building, 2nd floor, and it is updated regularly.
You may visit the office and request a personalized list of only those apartments that meet your particular needs. Students residing outside Montréal may request a listing of apartments by mail or fax -- everyone in the vicinity is required to stop by the service for printed listings. To be eligible for printed listings, all students must show valid and current identification (I.D. card or registration contract).
The Housing Office also has information about your rights as a tenant that may help you sort out a problem. Although we cannot provide legal help, we can direct you to someone who can.

Disabled Students
Concordia has a tradition of making higher education available to as many members of the community as possible. Welcoming disabled students with visual impairments, hearing impairments, motor difficulties and learning disabilities, the University provides many services to facilitate studying at Concordia. To assist students with disabilities in making their way around its two campuses, Concordia offers accessible classrooms and wheelchair accessible inter-campus shuttle buses. As well, there are Services for Disabled Students Offices on each campus.
It is recommended that students with disabilities interested in attending Concordia contact the Services for Disabled Students as soon as possible and inquire about special services, equipment resources and academic support systems.
