Carefully complete and submit this online application. The $20.00 application fee will be collected online via a secure server through use of a credit card or electronic check.
Make arrangements to have an official transcript from your high school sent to SCSU. A transcript is considered official when sent directly from your school to the Office of Records and Registration at SCSU. Documents mailed, faxed or brought by the student are not considered official. SCSU cannot consider your application until your official transcript is received.
Inform your high school counselor to note your high school rank, and test scores when submitting your official transcript if they are not already included on your transcript.
ADMISSION AS A FRESHMAN
Students are eligible for traditional admission if they are in the upper one-half of their high school graduating class.
Students also may be admitted with a composite score of 25 or above on the ACT exam, or 1140 or above on the SAT exam.
Students who do not meet these requirements will be considered for admission using a combination of high school rank, GPA, test scores, high school curriculum, and other indicators of academic potential. If your high school does not rank graduates, assessment materials submitted by your high school will be reviewed.
Freshmen students must also meet Minnesota State University Preparation Standards.
