Application Procedures
The admissions staff advises you to apply early. We consider such factors
as your high school record and overall curriculum, cumulative grade-point
average and class rank, and SAT or ACT scores. You may also wish to include
letters of recommendation, an essay, and a list of extra-curricular activities
to help us with the admission decision.
To apply for admission to Clarion, simply complete the following steps:

Complete the Undergraduate Application and submit the nonrefundable $30 application fee online.

Prospective music majors (Music
Education, Music Marketing, Music Performance) must pass a music audition.

Nursing applicants must take the National League for Nursing pre-entrance
examination in addition to completing the Undergraduate Application. The
Nursing Department
will contact applicants upon receipt of application to schedule exam.

Rolling admission (no application deadline) applies to all programs except
for Nursing
(12/15) and Certified
Occupational Therapy Assistant (1/1).
If you are transferring to Clarion, you must have all official high school and college transcripts forwarded to the Office of Admissions. Those interested in transferring into the Colleges of Business Administration must have a 2.5 minimum cumulative grade-point average. Those interested in transferring to the College of Education and Human Services or the Communication Sciences and Disorders (formerly named Speech Pathology) Department must have a 2.75 cumulative grade-point average.
