GENERAL APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

This Undergraduate Application and $20.00 Processing Fee can be filled out and submitted electronically. You will also need to submit by regular (snail) mail additional credentials required in support of your application (detailed below).
Please note: it is your responsibility to submit your supporting credentials to: Barry University, Office of Admissions, 11300 N.E. Second Avenue, Miami Shores, Florida 33161-6695. All credentials become the property of Barry University and will not be returned.

FRESHMAN APPLICANTS

  1. Ask the College Board (800-728-7267) or the American College Testing Program (319-337-1313) to forward your official scores from all SAT I or ACT tests to the Office of Admissions, Barry University. (Barry University's code numbers are as follows: SAT I, 5053/ACT, 0718.) Test scores posted on official high school transcripts are also acceptable.
  2. Ask your guidance counselor to forward your official high school transcripts to Barry University.
  3. If you have completed a G.E.D., forward official results of that examination and your official high school transcripts to Barry University.

TRANSFER APPLICANTS

You should apply as a transfer student if you have completed 12 or more semester hours of acceptable college credit. High school seniors with advanced placement credits and college credits should apply for freshman status. An evaluation of advanced-standing status will be made after receipt of your application and credentials.

You must request that an official transcript from each college/university attended be forwarded to the Office of Admissions. Student copies or transcripts stamped "Issued to Student" are not acceptable.

INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS

  1. Please fill out and submit this Undergraduate Application following the instructions above. Once we receive your completed application and application fee, additional forms and instructions will be forwarded to you.
  2. Please request that the Educational Testing Service forward a copy of your official TOEFL scores to the Office of Admissions, Barry University. The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is required of all applicants who do not give evidence of being native speakers. For exceptions to this rule, contact the Office of Admissions.
