Students applying by December 15 and meeting SCSU's admission requirements will be guaranteed a space in the fall class. Other benefits of applying by the early admission deadline include:
Being able to secure one of the first freshman orientation* dates.
Having a financial aid estimator completed early.
Being able to secure your top choice of residence halls.**
Please note: taking advantage of the early admission deadline does not solely commit you to St. Cloud State University - you are free to apply to other universities as well.
*Orientation is very important. It's the day you will come to campus, learn more about student life, and select and register for your fall classes. It's a day for students as well as parents.
** These benefits are available to students who meet the early admission deadline and return the estimator, housing application, and orientation appointment information promptly (within two weeks of receipt.)
